		In 1959, in Egypt, several thousand communists were arrested and sent to prison camps. Among these prisoners was Waguih, my father. Waguih was released in 1964.


He was 29, my age today. It's a topic we little discussed together. Simply because he doesn't talk much about himself. I have inherited this modesty, but today I want him to talk. I want us to speak to each other.

Namir Abdel Messeeh

Namir Abdel Messeeh was born in 1974, in Paris. In 2000 he graduated in film directing from La Femis. Since then he has been teaching film-making to students in high-school, and works as an assistant director.
